CNYWS Watercolor Series: Plein Air Transparent Watercolor with Roland "Chip" Stevens, NWS

Learn to paint in transparent watercolors with nationally recognized award winning painter Roland "Chip" Stevens. All painting will be done outdoors for any skill level. Site to be determined but will likely include water, river, trees, sky, canoes, & anything else that comes to mind. The instructor will discuss composition & design, lost & found edges, & positive & negative shapes, & depending on time of day show how sunlight & shadows can enhance contrast & focal point. We will strive to get a good likeness without recording all the facts.
 
Roland "Chip" Stevens is a Signature Member of NWS, PWCS, PWS, CNYWS, NFWS, WPA, & RAC & has won numerous awards in top National Exhibitions including Adirondacks National Exhibition of American Watercolors in Old Forge, NY.
